COFFEE
REGION

ABOUT

Coffee Region

For its culture and cultural landscape it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This is the area with the highest production of Colombian coffee, famous in the world for its flavor and quality.

Colombia has 32 Departments, three of them make up  the Coffee Region, Risaralda, Quindío and Caldas, lands with warm people, “paisa” towns, beautiful landscapes, hot springs and snowy peaks.
It is characterized by endless coffee plantations adorned with immense waterfalls and multicolored trees.

Being a region with several cities that are between 800 and 1.000 meters above sea level and peaks of up to 5.310 meters, its climate can vary between -3 and 28°c, for this reason it is a region where you can find a wide variety of fauna and flora.
